Compass Center Toy Drive

We need toys! Used, new, doesn’t matter. To be clear, kids attending the The Compass Center are the ones who need them. And we are asking for your help in getting them. The Compass Center serves victims of sexual abuse in the Sioux Falls area. And many of those victims are children. One of the free programs The Compass Center provides to children is play therapy. It’s for kids ages 3-12 who have either witnessed or experienced domestic violence or sexual assault. Play therapy helps kids process traumatic experiences in a safe environment, express themselves and relieve feelings of stress and anxiety.

The Compass Center is always in need of toys and games. So we are organizing a toy drive to help, and we need you to make it a success! It’s super easy to get involved. To join the cause, email or text us (605.951.1176) your address by Monday, June 27, 2016. On Tuesday, simply leave a toy (new or used) on your doorstep. DooGooders will pick it up and deliver it to The Compass Center. Simple as that!

Thanks as always for helping us doo good with poo.
